About & Contact

COVID-19 UPDATE: To ensure the health and safety of our customers and distribute as much food as possible as safely as possible to our local community, we are expanding our Weekly CSA Box delivery program and suspending our Saturday Market this Summer.  We hope to resume Markets in the fall.
For updates please join our k&k april 2015e-list.

We grow vibrant, delicious & beautiful vegetables for our community!  During this time of global upheaval, local agriculture can keep our community well-fed, healthy, and enjoying the simple and joyful act of connecting to the earth through fresh, flavourful food.

Sweet Digz Farm is a small-scale ecologically-sustainable farm in Steveston BC,  on leased land, located in unceded traditional territory of hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓-speaking Coast Salish peoples.

On these fertile flats of the Fraser River, we use ecological farming practices to grow veggies and herbs.  We sell our produce to our very local Richmond community through our CSA Weekly Box Delivery, and at our weekly Saturday Market (June-Dec).

Become a Member & Pre-pay your Commitment to local veggies!

Pre-pay, enjoy the bounty, and join our Community Supported Agriculture program:

Our CSA Weekly Box delivery program is a great way to deepen your commitment to local food and access seasonal local vegetables during this time of COVID-19 precautions.  As a member, you get notified of seasonal bulk offers, and your up front payment helps us with start-up expenses in the spring.

Share it Forward – Help Neighbours in Need!

Help us donate fresh healthy organic veggies to neighbours in need by contributing to our SHAREit Forward Fund.  We began this initiative in 2018 and our community supported it beyond our wildest dreams.  In 2019, you helped us distribute just over $4,000 worth of veggies through CSA shares and Sweet Digz Bucks.  Learn more here & help us reach our target of $4,500 in the 2020 season!

Agriculture is about Community!

Food creates connection and we love cultivating partnerships!  Including…

We’re bringing local organic grains from Cedar Isle Farm in the Fraser Valley to Richmond – these fresh grains are the best you’ll ever taste!  Sign up for their Grain CSA here & pick up at our market in the fall!

We’re grateful to the owners of Advantage Jiu Jitsu and True Conditioning and for hosting our Saturday Market in front of Advantage’s studio at London Landing, across from the Diplomat Bakery Cafe (Note: We are suspending our market for the Summer of 2020, as all our crop planning and growing efforts are now being directed towards our expanded CSA).

And you can often find our famous mixed salad greens on your plate at Sanctuary Cafe (where we LOVE drinking coffee). 🙂

Food For All!

In 2019 the Richmond Advocacy Support Committee, our partners in SHAREit Forward, created a cookbook full of recipes from their 2018 community kitchen workshops using Sweet Digz Farm-fresh veggies. The cookbooks sold out and they’ve decided to donate some of their proceeds to SHAREit Forward to spread the veggie love to even more people.  Amazing!

  1. The vegetables are robust: bursting with freshness and flavour. Many kinds can be eaten raw. Also, there are extraordinary varieties. I prefer using spices in my cooking to create vegetable stews: South Asian or Italian style. My family empties the pot, as the flavours really come through.
